About Jonathan Hickey

Born and raised in Brisbane, Jonathan is a singer and guitarist with a passion for bringing people together through live music.

His musical journey began at a young age, performing violin in string trios at weddings and formal events before later playing electric guitar in Brisbane-based rock band Chinatown Carpark. These experiences helped shape his love of performing and gave him experience across a wide range of musical styles.

After completing a Bachelor of Music majoring in Music Theatre, Jonathan went on to perform in professional musical theatre productions across Australia. With strong tenor vocals and years of live performance experience, he brings a relaxed, professional, and adaptable approach to every event.

Jonathan understands how important music can be in creating memorable moments. Whether it's walking down the aisle, celebrating with family and friends, or honouring a loved one, he aims to create the right atmosphere and make the experience feel personal and meaningful.

From acoustic guitar and vocals for weddings and private events to classical vocals for memorial services, Jonathan works closely with each client to ensure the music reflects their vision and helps make the occasion truly special.
